Bali in November! My Plans and Travel Info
"You Got To Go" Above & Beyond (Acoustic)
I'm venturing to Bali, departing November 22, 2022. How long will I be there for? That's a number that's to be determined, although some restrictions do apply.
Here I'll share what I know, my plans, and the recommendations I've received. Please do share your experiences and insights too to help us all along the way!
My Plans
I'm flying out to Denpasar, Indonesia from Edmonton, AB on November 22, 2022 which means I'll arrive there on November 24, 2022. Where I'm going and what I'll be doing is to be determined, but I will have my first spots decided this week!
I need to have a return ticket booked to be allowed into the country, and it's departure needed to be 28 days after I arrive in Indonesia (before my Visa will expire) so I'm currently booked to depart December 22, 2022 BUT I plan to get the Visa on Arrival and keep myself open to the opportunity to extend, making it so I could be there no later than January 22nd, 2023 before I would have to leave the country. That does not mean I have to come back to Canada though but at some point I certainly will. There are retreats happening here that I am honoured and excited to be a part of.

Recommended Stays and Activities
"For Bali this magical hotel recommendation I stayed at for a week was pure bliss - they have free shuttles into Ubud." [Padma Ubud]
"I would also HIGHLY recommend going to the Pyramids of Chi in Ubud for a sound experience - I did this one and it was other worldly."
"...interested in a silent retreat this one is amazing and you can stay as long as you want, no fixed lengths of stay. (I did 5 days)." [Bali Silent Retreat]
And if you're hopping over to Thailand... "Here is the Elephant Sanctuary we absolutely loved in Thailand. Stay overnight (it’s so worth it). You get to go down in the morning and bath the elephants one on one in the river and then put lifejackets on like diapers and zoom down the river back to the camp. So much fun!" [Elephants World]
"And the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
