Myofascial Cupping
Wanting improved mobility? Experiencing IT Band discomfort? Ask for this to be included in your therapeutic treatment.
Myofascial cupping therapy can be incorporated into a therapeutic massage to decrease stagnation, increasing blood and lymph flow to the skin and muscles. This technique's benefits include maintaining range of motion, eliminating myofascial trigger points and reducing myofascial adhesions commonly found with repetitive movements.
Marking may occur due to this improvement in blood flow and will decrease over time. Myofascial cupping is a modified version of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and uses manual vacuum cups that are set on the body and used to glide across areas with tension.
This treatment has been very beneficial for stubborn pain and runner's recovery.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Did you just have surgery? Are you experiencing chronic edema (swelling)?
Manual lymphatic drainage uses a gentle massage to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph from the body tissues. This is used to aid in swelling reduction and to help the body filter out toxins.
Book this for problematic fluid retention, especially if you've had lymph nodes removed.

Kinesio Taping
Not able to get that muscle to relax just enough? Needing more engagement during a specific movement?
The Kinesio Taping® Method is a definitive rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process. Proper application provides muscles and joints with support without restricting their range of motion and it has the ability to re-educate the neuromuscular system, reduce pain and inflammation, prevent injury, optimize performance and promote good circulation and healing.
The Kinesio® Tape is applied after a dry (no massage gel used) massage therapy treatment to support skin adherence.
Request this with your therapeutic treatment to help prolong the benefits of your massage.
Relaxation
In need of a safe space to allow yourself to simply be? Feel overwhelmed or tired? Take this time for you.
